Qualified Diploma of Early Childhood Education

As the Assistant Director you will be a passionate, experienced, and motivated leader that will inspire others and lead by example. This positions primary focus is to support the Director and Lead Educators to deliver quality services to the children and their families daily.

Established in 1996 our Daycare Centre located in the heart of Redlynch pride ourselves on our friendly educators with genuine warmth and commitment to children in our care. Our Centre provides a safe and secure environment as an extension of each child’s family setting.

The role of the Assistant Director will

Build trust and foster relationships with families

Review and monitor centre compliance and improvement

Support staff through supervision, mentoring, guidance, and leadership

Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Regular reporting and meetings for the centre performance

Assist the Director with room ratios and daily centre management

Cover staff room ratios when required

What you will need to succeed

A Bachelor or Diploma of Education (Early Childhood)

Experience with meeting National Quality Standards

Experience with the Early Years Learning Framework (ELF)

Experience with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKG)

First Aid/CPR certification

Working with Children blue card
